That’s why my highest priority is to source materials from sustainably-conscious suppliers who share my commitment to reducing environmental harm while ensuring your candles arrive safely and beautifully.
Every element of Flora + Moon’s production and shipping process is designed with sustainability in mind. The soy wax used in each candle is made in the USA, chosen for its biodegradable nature and sustainable crop regeneration. It’s free from harmful toxins, ensuring a clean burn while being gentle on the planet. The glass candle jars are another key element, designed for reuse or easy recycling, encouraging less waste and more creativity in repurposing.
Beyond the candles themselves, shipping materials are thoughtfully selected to minimize environmental impact. Shipping boxes are made fro recyclable materials and are recyclable. To protect each candle during transit, I use biodegradable packing peanuts made from organic starches that dissolve in water. Instead of traditional bubble wrap, Flora + Moon relies on corrugated bubble wrap, crafted from 100% recycled post-consumer and post-industrial waste, which is also fully recyclable and biodegradable. Even the tissue paper wrapping your candles is made from 100% recycled materials, reinforcing my commitment to sustainability at every step.
