There’s something special about having a scent that feels entirely your own—one that captures the mood of your space, tells a little piece of your story, and becomes something your customers begin to associate with your brand.

At Flora + Moon, I create private-label candles with the same care and intention I bring to my own collections. Each candle is hand-poured in small batches using American-made soy wax, cotton wicks, and thoughtfully sourced, professional-grade fragrance oils chosen for both their beauty and the standards behind them.

Fragrance is something I take seriously. The fragrance oils I choose are phthalate free and carefully screened to avoid fragrance oils or disclosed ingredients classified as known or suspected carcinogens, mutagens, or reproductive toxicants. I review current supplier safety documentation when selecting my fragrances, and every product is formulated within the applicable IFRA usage standards for its intended use.

But fragrance shouldn't just check boxes—it should make you feel something.

Maybe you want the scent of an old library filled with worn leather, aged wood, and a trace of smoke. A sun-warmed garden tangled with herbs and wildflowers. Something dark and mysterious with incense and amber. Or perhaps it's a memory, a place, or simply a feeling you haven't quite figured out how to put into words yet.

Choose Your Fragrance

The Flora + Moon Scent Library

If you've already fallen in love with a Flora + Moon fragrance, you're welcome to make it part of your private-label collection.

There is no fragrance development fee when choosing an existing scent.

Because these fragrances are part of the Flora + Moon scent library, they are not exclusive and may continue to be sold by Flora + Moon or selected by other private-label clients.

Create a Signature Scent

If you're looking for something that belongs only to your brand, this is my favorite part.

Custom fragrance development begins with your story. We'll talk about the notes you love, but also the mood you're trying to create—the places, memories, seasons, textures, and feelings you want someone to experience when they light your candle.

From there, I'll develop a scent direction specifically for your brand.

Custom fragrance development is $200 per fragrance and includes four fragrance samples for you to experience and review.

Once we land on the one, your fragrance is reserved exclusively for your brand within Flora + Moon. I will not sell it as a Flora + Moon fragrance, add it to my own collection, or use it for another private-label client.

Your signature scent is created exclusively for use in products manufactured by Flora + Moon and is not sold, released, or transferred for production by another manufacturer.

Shipping for fragrance samples is additional and is the responsibility of the client.

If your fragrance concept or branding is confidential, I'm also happy to put a mutual NDA in place before you share those details with me.

Private Label Minimums

The minimum private-label order is $800 per scent + vessel combination.

Each individual fragrance and vessel combination must meet the $800 minimum.

For example, if you'd like three fragrances in the same candle vessel, each fragrance has its own $800 minimum. If you'd like the same fragrance produced in two different vessels, each scent/vessel combination would also have its own $800 minimum.

This allows me to continue producing private-label collections in small batches while giving each project the same care and attention I give my own Flora + Moon collections.

Estimated Candle Pricing

Every project is a little different, but I know it's helpful to have a general idea of cost before deciding whether private label is right for you.

When using my standard candle vessels, you can expect pricing around:

8 oz Single-Wick Candle — approximately $14 each

12 oz Double-Wick Candle — approximately $18 each

Based on the $800 minimum, this generally works out to approximately fifty eight 8 oz candles or forty five 12 oz candles per scent.

These prices are estimates rather than guaranteed quotes. Your final price will depend on your selected fragrance, vessel, lid, and label specifications.

If you're interested in a vessel or lid outside of my standard offerings, I'm happy to discuss whether it can be incorporated into your project and provide a custom quote.

Labels + Branding

Your private-label candles should feel like your brand.

Flora + Moon handles the candle production and professional application of your custom branded label. You'll provide your logo, branding elements, and print-ready artwork, and we'll work together to make sure the finished label is appropriate for the selected candle vessel.

Standard label printing and application are included in your private-label candle pricing.

Specialty label materials, printing methods, or other nonstandard label requests may incur an additional charge. Any additional costs will always be discussed and approved before production begins.

Any additional retail packaging—including boxes, bags, tissue, inserts, belly bands, or other branded packaging—is the responsibility of the client and is not included in Flora + Moon's private-label service.

Samples + Approval

For custom fragrance development, you'll receive up to four fragrance samples as part of your $200 development fee.

You'll have the opportunity to experience the fragrances before selecting your final scent.

Once your fragrance, vessel, label, and other candle details are finalized, you'll approve everything before your full production order begins.

Shipping costs for samples are not included in the development fee and are the responsibility of the client.

Production Timeline

Once your fragrance, vessel, label, and other candle components have received final approval, standard production time is approximately 2–4 weeks.

Custom fragrance development, sampling and approval, specialty vessel sourcing, and label preparation take place before the production timeline begins.

More involved projects may require additional development time, but I'll communicate anticipated timing with you throughout the process so you'll know what to expect.

Payment + Shipping

A 50% nonrefundable deposit is required to begin production.

The remaining balance is due before your completed order ships or at pickup.

Shipping is not included in private-label pricing, order minimums, or fragrance-development fees.

Clients are responsible for shipping costs for both fragrance samples and completed production orders.

Local pickup can also be arranged in Franklin, Tennessee.

Reorders + Larger Production Runs

One of my favorite parts of private label is watching a signature candle become something your customers come back for again and again.

Private-label pricing is already structured for wholesale production, so I don't currently offer standard quantity price breaks.

For established private-label partners placing significantly larger or recurring production orders, I'm always happy to have a conversation about pricing based on the quantities and components involved.

Reorder timelines will depend on quantity and component availability, and I'll provide an estimated production timeframe when your reorder is placed.
